What is the warranty?
We have a perpetual, ongoing warranty or service agreement
through our supplier. If you purchase
crystals and supplies through us, we will provide a
continuous warranty for your machine. We have many years of
experience working with the Derma Genesis
and Skin Science units and we are a national supplier
of crystals for microdermabrasion systems.
Are these new units?
Yes, these units are new. We have both new
and demo units available. The
demo units will have just an hour or two on the counter.
They may be slightly discounted if available.

What is the normal charge per treatment? What is the
return on investment?
Per treatment charges vary across the US, but the average is
around $90 per session. The range is $75 -
$125 per session, which creates an excellent return

How big are the machines?
This unit is considered to be a portable
machine, but it’s a sturdy, powerful system, with a strong
vacuum pump; in other words, it’s not a lightweight, flimsy
unit. The actual dimensions of the machine are: 13 x 21 x 10
inches tall. It
weighs approx 40 lbs. It can be placed on a cart for easy
mobility.
How strong of suction can it
generate?
The suction gage on this unit is a
measurement of Hg (inches of mercury).
This is a very strong system, it will pull 23 Hg at sea
level when the vacuum is turned all the way up.
This means that it can create sheet bleeding through the
skin in just a few seconds.
Normal usage is way below this maximum setting, usually
around 5 Hg.

Do you have marketing materials?
Yes, we have patient videos and patient brochures available.
Both are introductory pieces that
illustrate the simplicity, safety and results that
can be expected from microdermabrasion.
How long will a container of crystals
last? What about
other consumables?
If you keep the crystal flow set low, the 3
lb container will last 10 –15 treatments.
The hand pieces will last 30-40 treatments or more if
you’re gentle with them.
The filters need to be cleaned and brushed off every
couple of treatments and then changed when they start to get
gray colored, which is approximately every 15-20 treatments for
the primary filter. The
secondary filter can last over 50 treatments.
What is the 50 Procedure Pack on your
order form?
This pack is an optional pack that you may
decide to purchase. It
includes the following:

canisters of crystals (3 lbs ea), 8 large filters, 2 Pyrex hand
pieces, one set of Tubing, and various o-rings (for the filters,
etc.)
Do the machines clog?
We have had no issues with clogging with this machine but all
microderms have the potential to clog if the
crystal gets damp, etc. The clearing procedure is
simple and detailed in the owner's manual. A bulb syringe is
included to inject air into the vacuum
system and the machine has a purge button also.
What type of hand piece do you have?
How do you clean it?
The hand piece that comes with the system
is a pyrex glass hand piece that is lightweight and comfortable
to use. It has an
oval shaped opening that is angled at 45 degrees for easy
applications. The
glass is very durable, but care should be taken to insure that
it doesn’t get dropped or chipped.
The pyrex hand piece can be autoclaved or
liquid sterilized.
A metal hand piece using plastic,
disposable tip caps is also available, for an extra fee. See the
